Registered Nurse - Surgical Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan elective surgical and urological operations
• Provide professional telephone counseling via TeleQ regarding planned surgeries
• Conduct admission interviews for selected patients to assess needs and preparations
• Plan and coordinate operating room usage focusing on efficiency and patient safety
• Follow up on preoperative examinations, lab results, and medical documentation
• Collaborate with various healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient flow

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (legitimerad sjuksköterska)
• Post-graduation experience in surgery and/or urology
• Strong logistical understanding and knowledge of surgical procedures
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment with high prioritization needs
• Structured, solution-oriented, and collaborative personality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an operating room coordinator
• Experience working with TeleQ
