Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-operative patient care, education, and wound evaluations
• Assist physicians during procedures and monitor patient vitals and safety
• Administer and document medications, including lidocaine and antibiotic prophylaxis
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure AAAHC compliance
• Lead emergency drills, maintain emergency kits and AEDs, and enforce HIPAA protections
• Conduct narcotic counts and monitor medication security
• Maintain sterile fields, OR setup, equipment sterilization, and clinic readiness
• Assist with staff interviews, evaluations, and clinical education
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and complete required logs

Requirements

• A.D.N. or B.S.N. required; active Compact Nursing License accepted
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficient in MS Office and EMR systems
• Able to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Visual and hearing acuity with stress tolerance required

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-op and/or OR circulator experience preferred
