Registered Nurse – RN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
• Support plasma center operations and follow guidance from Medical Affairs regarding health and safety
• Manage employee incidents and support vaccination programs as required
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS to support local community investigations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus graduation from a recognized nursing program
• Current license or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Ability to complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialists
