Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone and walk-in triage for students regarding illnesses, injuries, and medication inquiries
• Perform clinical duties including administering immunizations, specialty injections, wound care, and ear lavage
• Conduct sexual health screenings in the STI clinic, including ordering laboratory tests and providing health education
• Support primary care providers by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and collecting patient histories
• Execute point-of-care laboratory duties such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, and CLIA waived testing
• Document all clinical interactions and lab results accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of New York
• Three (3) years of experience as an RN
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a primary care or college health office setting
• Proficiency in phlebotomy
