Registered Nurse (RN) - Special Care Nursery/Postpartum

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Special Care Nursery and Postpartum units.
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to develop and revise patient care plans.
• Administer medications and perform medical interventions based on clinical judgment and patient needs.
• Document all care provided and monitor patient progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and prepare them for discharge or transfer.
• Direct and supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel in delegated activities.
• Manage time and resources effectively to deliver high-quality care in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (7 pm - 7:30 am), including every other weekend and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Proven experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
