Registered Nurse RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and document patient care, including administering injections and performing preventive screenings
• Triage patients according to approved protocols and scheduling guidelines
• Educate patients regarding illnesses, injuries, and self-management of conditions
• Carry out standing orders such as authorizing prescription refills and ordering tests
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Conduct patient outreach to communicate test results and follow up on care plans
• Monitor task buckets, worklists, and critical referrals to ensure timely responses
• Support the Clinical Lead and act as a resource for other clinical staff members
• Precept new clinical team members and maintain open communication with management

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in CT
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Experience working with Epic EHR
• Experience working in a hospital or medical office setting
• 1 year of experience in pediatrics
