About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for healthcare visits by reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of the visit
- Support healthcare providers during examinations and assist with patient care delivery
- Perform nursing duties in patient assessment, surgery, and recovery, including monitoring pre- and post-surgical patients
- Conduct ultrasounds for medical and surgical patients and ensure satisfactory image quality for gestational purposes
- Educate patients regarding contraception, post-operative instructions, and follow-up exams
- Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic laboratory tests according to CLIA and OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate patient data in EMR/EHR systems to support efficient claims processing
- Manage inventory for ultrasound and recovery areas and ensure equipment is in good working order
- Participate in a rotating on-call program to address patient concerns when health centers are closed
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Compact RN license for Kansas and Missouri
- BLS certification
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
- Minimum of one year of women's health care experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a surgical setting
- Prior experience with sonography
- Working knowledge of Epic EMR
- Bilingual skills
Benefits
- Starting salary range of $34.00-$38.00 per hour
- $2,500 sign-on bonus after 60 days of successful employment
- 13 paid holidays per year, including a full holiday week in December

- Paid parental leave (100% base salary for 6 weeks) after 12 months of employment
