Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients seeking reproductive health services, including intake, education, and recovery support
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and perform nursing duties in patient assessment, surgery, and recovery
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound services for surgical and medical patients, ensuring high-quality imaging for gestational purposes
• Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic laboratory tests according to CLIA and OSHA standards
• Educate patients regarding contraception, post-operative instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate patient data in EMR/EHR systems and adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA standards
• Manage inventory for ultrasound and recovery areas and ensure medical equipment is in good working order
• Participate in a rotating on-call program to address patient concerns outside of standard clinic hours

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Compact RN license for Kansas and Missouri
• BLS certification
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Minimum of one year of women's health care experience
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); prior knowledge of Epic is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel throughout the affiliate as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a surgical setting
• Experience with sonography
• Bilingual skills

Benefits

• Starting salary range of $34.00-$38.00 per hour
• $2,500 sign-on bonus after 60 days of successful employment
• 13 paid holidays per year, including a full holiday week in December

• Consistent schedule: 37.5 hour work week consisting of four 10-hour days
