Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ambulatory surgical and pain management patients.
• Deliver care effectively and safely according to facility policy in a therapeutic environment.
• Administer medications safely and efficiently.
• Gather patient data through history taking and physical assessments to develop and revise care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding the plan of care and post-discharge management.
• Document all care provided and monitor patient progress toward desired outcomes.
• Lead the healthcare team and supervise surgical technologists, nursing students, or orientees.
• Manage care for simple to complex multi-system patients using resources efficiently.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (A.D.) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school.
• Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous Operating Room (OR) experience.
• BCLS and ACLS certification (must be obtained within 3 months of hire).

Benefits
