Registered Nurse (RN), Nursery

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to assess, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care and outcomes
• Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process and complex nursing skills
• Delegate tasks to other care team members according to unit-specific competencies and patient age
• Monitor the quality of patient care and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction
• Serve as a resource, preceptor, mentor, and leader for physicians, peers, and fellow employees
• Maintain daily operations of the Patient Care Center effectively and efficiently
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, standards of care, and corporate compliance requirements

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Illinois RN Licensure or a valid temporary permit to practice in the State of Illinois
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Recent experience (within the last five years) in acute care or a related nursing field
