Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to critical newborn NICU patients in a 12-bed Level III facility
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess, anticipate, and coordinate necessary interventions based on provider orders and patient needs
• Transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and report changes in the physical and mental conditions of patients
• Provide instruction and education to patients and families regarding health and medical needs
• Maintain strict infection control procedures and adhere to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a NICU setting
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification required within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care
• NRP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• STABLE certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire
