Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse group of medical-surgical patients.
• Gather patient data through history taking and physical assessments to develop and revise care plans.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Document all care provided and monitor patient progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
• Lead the healthcare team and serve as a resource person or preceptor for new employees during the assigned shift.
• Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel in delegated activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of prior clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
