Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery/Postpartum

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients in a night shift capacity
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with simple to complex multi-system issues
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to develop and revise patient care plans
• Administer medications and document care provided and patient progress
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge preparation
• Direct and supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel in delegated activities
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of prior clinical nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
