About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
- Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for all residents.
- Ensure nursing personnel comply with established policies and procedures.
- Participate in the admission, discharge, and transfer processes for residents.
- Assess changes in resident status and notify physicians and families accordingly.
- Transcribe physician orders to medical records and execute orders as written.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the practicing state.
- Current CPR certification.
