Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for all residents.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with established policies and procedures.
• Participate in the admission, discharge, and transfer processes for residents.
• Assess changes in resident status and notify physicians and families accordingly.
• Transcribe physician orders to medical records and execute orders as written.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
