Registered Nurse RN Evening

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hospice care to patients in private residences, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing homes.
• Case manage the needs of assigned patients and families, performing ongoing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual assessments.
• Create and implement nursing care plans, ensuring they are reviewed and updated daily.
• Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other assigned field staff.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary group (IDG) and team physicians to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and the community regarding hospice care philosophy and concepts.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work the evening shift (Monday - Thursday, 11pm - 9am).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, or hospice setting.
• Experience in clinical supervision or mentoring.
