Registered Nurse RN Evening

Responsibilities

• Provide quality field-based patient care, assessment, and case management during the evening shift (4 PM - 1 AM) in West Pasco County.
• Perform ongoing assessments of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for patients in private residences, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
• Create, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other assigned field staff.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and team physicians regarding patient status.
• Educate patients, families, and the community regarding hospice care and philosophy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Current Florida RN license.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• CPR certification.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, or hospice setting.
