Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy Center

Responsibilities

• Apply principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgments and decisions
• Perform initial assessments and reassessments on all patients and report changes in condition to providers
• Administer moderate sedation and other medications as ordered
• Provide patient education in response to identified needs
• Monitor and maintain infection control procedures and safety in all work environments
• Document patient responses to each phase of the procedure experience
• Lead the healthcare team and manage time and resources effectively

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• At least 2 years of clinical specialty experience in endoscopy, ambulatory care, ICU, or perioperative nursing (RNs with 2+ years of medical/surgical acute care experience within the last 10 years will be considered)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
