Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with physicians to assess, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care and outcomes
• Provide complex nursing care and delegate tasks to care team members according to unit-specific competencies
• Monitor the quality of patient care and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction
• Serve as a resource, preceptor, mentor, and leader for physicians, professional peers, and other employees
• Maintain daily operations of the Patient Care Center effectively and efficiently
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, standards of care, and corporate compliance requirements

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's (ADN)
• Current Illinois RN Licensure or a valid temporary permit to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with Healthcare Provider Recognition

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an Emergency Department (ED)
