Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity emergency department setting
• Assess patient status and determine the priority of patient problems and needs
• Implement clinical nursing interventions and develop patient care plans to improve outcomes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to provide care for a broad spectrum of patients, ranging from short-stay to trauma
• Administer medications safely in accordance with state practice and organizational policies
• Serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination across various hospital departments

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• One year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record training
