Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Empower, engage, and train dialysis patients on peritoneal and home hemodialysis using state-of-the-art training programs and equipment
• Act as an onsite Patient Educator and Case Manager, conducting initial home visits and providing ongoing education to patients and families
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data, documenting in medical records and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Coordinate the safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy, including medication administration and emergency response measures
• Identify and assess home dialysis candidates and their home environments to ensure readiness for treatment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to update nursing assessments and plans of care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current and appropriate state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience with home dialysis therapy
