Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Manage patient response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy following prescribed protocols.
• Provide initial and ongoing education to patients and families regarding home dialysis and treatment modality options.
• Train Home Dialysis patients and partners on the safe and effective operation of equipment and supplies.
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data and document findings in medical records.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct laboratory collection and processing.
• Identify and assess barriers in the home environment to ensure patient and partner readiness for home therapy.
• Participate in decision-making, leadership, and quality improvement activities within the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in home dialysis therapy.
• Experience in Nephrology Nursing.
