About the role
Responsibilities
- Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques
- Monitor and record significant changes in resident conditions or reactions to treatments
- Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess resident health
- Maintain current and accurate resident charts and documentation
- Communicate changes in resident behavior, medications, or health status to families and physicians
- Modify care plans, care directives, and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) based on resident needs
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to administer medications and take vital signs
- 1+ years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment preferred
