Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for behavioral health patients in a safe and therapeutic environment
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to develop and revise patient care plans
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care
• Document care provided and track patient progress toward desired outcomes
• Lead the healthcare team and serve as a resource person for the assigned shift
• Direct and supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge preparation
• Manage time and resources effectively to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• One year of prior clinical nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
