Registered Nurse - Primary Health

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, high-quality healthcare to individuals in detention
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and care planning
• Perform clinical procedures including immunisations, blood collection, and wound management
• Administer medications and evaluate patient health outcomes
• Provide health promotion and education to detainees
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements

• AHPRA Registered Nurse (General unrestricted registration)
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in hands-on patient care in an operational setting (non-Telehealth)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances
