Registered Nurse Preop/PACU

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to safety guidelines
• Perform PreOP and PACU nursing skills with minimal supervision
• Identify abnormalities and perform interventions during post-operative emergencies
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• One year of Registered Nurse experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or via a valid compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Associate Nursing Degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care experience
