Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered, and trauma-informed reproductive healthcare in collaboration with physicians and clinicians.
• Perform clinical assessments before, during, and after procedures to guide patient care.
• Administer medications and mild to moderate sedation under physician supervision.
• Execute routine nursing tasks including monitoring vital signs, placing IV catheters, and performing blood draws.
• Provide patient education, anticipatory guidance, and discharge teaching.
• Manage medication inventory, including the accurate documentation of controlled substances.
• Maintain thorough, real-time medical record documentation and assist with clinical environment maintenance through audits and restocking.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in clinical assessments and medication administration.
• Demonstrated commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission, vision, and values.
