About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide quality healthcare services to clients, including assessing somatic conditions and medical needs
- Communicate with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocols and courses of action
- Create a favorable group climate to support the effective treatment of each enrolled client
- Perform clinical tasks to support the provision of cost-effective medical services within the Behavioral Health Division
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or a valid multistate RN license authorized to practice in Washington
- 0-2 years of registered nursing experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with outside agencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in mental health and chemical dependency
- Experience with electronic charting
- Knowledge of local resources for individuals experiencing homelessness, low income, or chronic behavioral health challenges
- Experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbances
