About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide quality healthcare services and clinical support to behavioral health clients during night shifts
- Assess somatic conditions, medical needs, and psychological needs of clients
- Perform clinical tasks including monitoring vital signs, collecting lab specimens, and providing aseptic wound care
- Conduct health education classes on topics such as medication self-administration and nutrition
- Document observations, medication delivery, and treatment progress in accordance with program policy and state law
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through daily staffing meetings and shift reports
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment by managing equipment and supplies
Requirements
- Current Washington State RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other work-related software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with outside agencies and diverse client populations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in mental health and chemical dependency
- Experience with electronic charting
- Knowledge of local resources for individuals experiencing homelessness or chronic behavioral health challenges
- Status as a Mental Health Professional per WAC 246-341-0515
