About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide quality healthcare services and somatic assessments for behavioral health clients during night shift on-call hours
- Assess medical needs and somatic conditions of clients
- Communicate with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocols and courses of action
- Create a favorable group climate to support the effective treatment of enrolled clients
- Perform clinical tasks to support the provision of cost-effective medical services within the Behavioral Health Division
Requirements
- Current Washington State RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with outside agencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in mental health and chemical dependency
- Experience with electronic charting
- Knowledge of local resources for individuals experiencing homelessness, low income, or chronic behavioral health challenges
- Mental Health Professional designation per WAC 246-341-0515
- Experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbances
