Registered Nurse-PICU

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols
• Continuously monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, neurological status, and overall condition, promptly identifying and responding to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support interventions, including ventilation and cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Operate and manage specialized medical equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring systems
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress
• Support and educate patients’ families, providing clear communication and emotional reassurance during critical situations
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards to ensure a safe clinical environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (DOH/DHA/MOH)
• 2–3 years of recent experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or critical care setting
