Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Family Respite Care

Responsibilities

• Offer and guarantee individualized care to children, considering physical, psychological, affective, spiritual, social, and cultural needs
• Act as a reference and make decisions during interventions with families and children
• Provide concrete support to families by developing trust and fostering communication
• Coordinate care with network partners
• Participate in the promotion of clinical practices through interprofessional collaboration
• Maintain up-to-date skills in line with evolving professional practices
• Support the institutional mission of maintaining home care in a safe and stimulating environment for children

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
• Post-graduate training in child, adolescent, and family health
• Experience in managing families in crisis situations
• Hospital experience in pediatric care
• Theoretical knowledge of the impact of illness on families (e.g., Calgary model, systemic approach)
• Ability to work autonomously and interprofessionally
• Driver's license and mobility throughout the canton
