Registered Nurse - Patient Educator

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized face-to-face training to home testing customers on blood sampling and PT/INR product operation
• Remotely set up training appointments directly with customers and caregivers
• Travel to customer home settings within the assigned geographic location
• Demonstrate and instruct proper use and care of PT/INR equipment
• Explain test reporting options to patients
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically
• Maintain professional communication via cell phone, email, and internet

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven clinical experience
• Must reside within 25 miles of Crestone, CO
• Reliable transportation for travel (minimum 100 miles roundtrip required)
• Proficiency with computers and smart devices, including basic website and application troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience or exposure to anticoagulation management, homecare, or allied health
• Previous experience in health education training
