Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinics

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent nursing care in accordance with the UHN Professional Practice Model
• Ensure practice remains consistent with professional standards and ethical frameworks outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Participate in continuous professional development and reflective practice to improve quality of care
• Float to different clinics within the POD as required to support outpatient operations

Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Proven oncology nursing experience
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Certificate in Oncology Nursing and/or CNA Oncology Certification
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an ambulatory setting
• Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
