About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality pre- and post-operative surgical care and rehabilitation for orthopaedic patients
- Support patients undergoing total hip and knee replacements, revision joint surgery, and spinal or trauma procedures
- Deliver holistic, person-centred care including patient education and discharge planning
- Work collaboratively within a specialized surgical team to ensure safe, evidence-based practice
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong foundations in surgical nursing
- Orthopaedic experience is preferred but not essential
- A collaborative, safety-focused approach to patient care
