Registered Nurse - Orthopaedics

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care for patients undergoing total hip and knee replacements, revision joint surgery, and trauma-related procedures
• Manage the full patient journey, including pre-operative assessment, post-operative surgical care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning
• Support patient recovery, mobility, and independence within dedicated orthopaedic wards
• Collaborate with a high-performing surgical team to ensure patient safety and holistic, patient-centred care

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Strong experience in acute or surgical nursing
• A collaborative, safety-focused approach to clinical practice
• Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in orthopaedic nursing
• A passion for supporting patient rehabilitation and mobility
