Registered Nurse Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient flow within the OR suite to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction
• Deliver patient education to facilitate care plans and promote wellness
• Delegate care appropriately according to Colorado Statute
• Perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and assist in surgical procedures
• Review patient paperwork for accuracy and verify scheduled procedures
• Assist in patient positioning and transport
• Complete patient charting including pathology, implant logs, and tissue tracking
• Advocate for patient safety and preferences using Relationship-Based Care

Requirements

• One year of operating room experience
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Colorado or via a valid compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Associate Nursing Degree or higher
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to acquire necessary computer skills within 90 days
