Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a diverse patient population.
• Use clinical judgment and organized thinking to make critical medical decisions and interventions.
• Gather patient data through history taking and physical assessments to develop and revise individualized plans of care.
• Document all care provided and monitor patient progress toward desired clinical outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage time and resources effectively to deliver high-quality care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and preparation for procedures or discharge.
• Direct and supervise licensed nursing assistants and other unlicensed personnel in delegated activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing RN license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of prior clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts (Monday through Friday) with required call for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
