Registered Nurse - Oncology Infusion

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-specific infusions to pediatric and adult patients
• Provide patient education and emotional support tailored to each stage of the treatment process
• Monitor and manage patient symptoms and infusion reactions, collaborating with the broader oncology care team
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in individualized treatment planning
• Implement provider orders and treatments accurately while adhering to infection control procedures

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
• Completion of ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification required within 7 days of hire
• Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality laws
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting (clinic, physician office, or hospital)
• Prior experience specifically in Oncology Infusion
• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN)
• APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nursing) provider course
• PEARS course completion
