Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Coordinate care delivery and evaluate progress toward expected health outcomes
• Direct patient care and determine appropriate utilization of nursing assistants
• Involve patients and families in care planning, teaching, and discharge processes
• Perform all aspects of patient care to optimize safety and reduce medical errors
• Assess and manage patient pain using appropriate techniques and education
• Ensure effective clinical hand-offs to the next healthcare provider

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
• One year of experience in a similar clinical role
• CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS)
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a similar clinical role
