About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled
- Adhere to the State of California Nursing Practice Act
- Work across various settings including Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, and Skilled Nursing Facility
- Participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current State of California Nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS and PALS required upon hire for Emergency Department, Med/Surg, and House Supervisor roles
- Basic arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire for Emergency and Med/Surg roles
- ACLS required for Perioperative Services
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, Medical Surgical Services, or Skilled Nursing Services
