Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled
- Adhere to the State of California Nursing Practice Act
- Work within Medical Surgical, Emergency, Perioperative, or Skilled Nursing settings
- Participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- One year of acute care experience
- Current State of California Nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS certification upon hire
- PALS certification upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Perioperative, Medical Surgical, or Skilled Nursing Services
- Basic arrhythmia certification (required within 6 months of hire)
