About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with benign and malignant disorders of the hematopoietic system
- Manage patients within Hematology/Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Neuro-Oncology services
- Care for surgical patients from Acute Care Surgery services
- Complete hospital-based chemotherapy training and competency checkoffs
- Participate in unit-based teamwork to ensure patient safety
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license
- Ability to pass NCLEX for Graduate Nurses within 45 days of hire
- Submission of a complete and accurate resume
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- OCN certification
- Previous oncology experience
- Strong interpersonal and delegation skills
