About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide focused, episodic care including pre-op prep, intra-procedural monitoring, and administration of sedation/analgesia
- Manage post-op recovery and patient/family education
- Care for adult and pediatric in-patient and out-patient populations requiring radiological exams or interventional procedures
- Respond to emergency care calls in all areas of Radiology
Requirements
- Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Four of the last seven years of experience in ED, Interventional Radiology, ICU, SWAT, or Survival Flight (or current CSR nurse in Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology)
- ACLS certification
- Ability to work on-call including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Pediatric experience
- Experience in leadership roles such as charge nurse or preceptor
- Proficiency in IV skills for both adult and pediatric populations
- Experience with float assignments
