About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide focused, episodic care including pre-op prep, intra-procedural monitoring, and administration of sedation/analgesia
  • Manage post-op recovery and patient/family education
  • Care for adult and pediatric in-patient and out-patient populations requiring radiological exams or interventional procedures
  • Respond to emergency care calls in all areas of Radiology

Requirements

  • Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Four of the last seven years of experience in ED, Interventional Radiology, ICU, SWAT, or Survival Flight (or current CSR nurse in Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology)
  • ACLS certification
  • Ability to work on-call including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN degree
  • Pediatric experience
  • Experience in leadership roles such as charge nurse or preceptor
  • Proficiency in IV skills for both adult and pediatric populations
  • Experience with float assignments
