Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to complex internal medicine patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care
• Directly supervise unlicensed personnel
• Implement bedside report, geographical nursing, and hourly rounding standards
• Float to designated units as needed during low census periods

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain via NCLEX within 45 days for Graduate Nurses)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Ability to work day/night rotating shifts and every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• 6 months of RN experience, preferably inpatient
• Telemetry experience
• 3-5 years experience with adult internal medicine patients
• Experience in leadership roles such as charge nurse or preceptor
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
