About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to complex internal medicine patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care
- Directly supervise unlicensed personnel
- Implement bedside report, geographical nursing, and hourly rounding standards
- Float to designated units as needed during low census periods
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain via NCLEX within 45 days for Graduate Nurses)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work day/night rotating shifts and every other weekend
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- 6 months of RN experience, preferably inpatient
- Telemetry experience
- 3-5 years experience with adult internal medicine patients
- Experience in leadership roles such as charge nurse or preceptor
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
