Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care for adult patients in a 20-bed surgical intensive care unit
• Monitor patients experiencing multi-system failure, including those requiring ventilator support, Swan-Ganz monitoring, and parenteral nutrition
• Care for complex patient populations, including liver transplant recipients and patients with ECMO/respiratory failure
• Participate in a team-based environment to support family-centered care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patients with peripheral vascular disease, cancer, hepatic, pancreatic, or renal failure

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• One year of ICU or Emergency Room experience within the last 5 years
• ACLS certification (or must be completed within six months of hire)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Two or more years of Adult Surgical ICU experience
• CCRN certification
• Experience with ECMO or Liver and Kidney transplantation
• Demonstrated effective delegation and problem-solving skills
