Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, team-based nursing care for Primary Care OB/GYN patients
• Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, and clinical advice
• Conduct in-person and video nurse visits and in-clinic hands-on procedures
• Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care within electronic health records
• Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education and coaching related to chronic conditions

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
• Three (3) years of RN experience in OB/GYN Medicine or labor and delivery within the last 7 years
• Two (2) years of experience performing non-stress tests (NSTs) within the last 7 years
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation and typing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certification in Ambulatory Nursing
• Experience in ambulatory phone triage
• Experience in adult medicine or gynecologic specialties, particularly post-operative follow-up
