Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and telehealth nursing care, including triage and patient/family education
• Perform pre-operative teaching, counseling, and assist with informed consent for orthopedic procedures
• Conduct post-operative telephone consultations
• Assist with clinical procedures and tasks to maintain patient flow and support assistive staff
• Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic setting
• Assist with the onboarding of new staff members

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan (RN)
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse providing care to adult orthopedic patients within the last 5 years
• Proficiency with Epic/MiChart for documentation and inbasket management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in ambulatory care settings
• Clinical skills including ortho injury wrapping and wound assessment
• Experience with care coordination and managing complex patient populations
• Recent experience with telehealth management
