Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients in multispecialty outpatient clinics
• Perform telephone triage, patient teaching, and direct patient care including injections
• Coordinate infusion therapies and documentation with follow-up
• Provide functional supervision to allied health staff and assist with patient flow
• Work with licensed providers to develop and carry out clinical standards of care
• Teach patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent RN experience with pediatric patients within the last five (5) years
• One (1) year of pediatric ambulatory care experience
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Telephone triage experience within an ambulatory care setting
• Certification in ambulatory care nursing (AMB-BC)
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
