About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care, including patient education and management of patients undergoing cell and gene therapy
  • Administer cell and gene therapy, IV hydration, blood products, chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy
  • Perform high acuity symptom monitoring for CRS, neurotoxicity, infection, dehydration, and infusion reactions
  • Support investigational and research-based cellular therapy protocols, including specimen collection and toxicity assessment
  • Coordinate research-related clinical activities and collaborate with regulatory and clinical trial teams
  • Manage hospital admissions and follow-up coordination from the Oncology Treatment evaluation center (OTEC)
  • Maintain vascular access through IV starts and port access

Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience
  • Two (2) or more years of recent (within the last 3 years) cellular therapy or BMT RN experience
  • Demonstrated ability to start IVs and access ports
  • Strong clinical monitoring and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of recent experience administering cellular therapy products
  • Two (2) or more years of recent experience in Ambulatory Care Infusion
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
  • Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN) certification
