Requirements
AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted), 5+ years clinical experience, Mental health clinical experience (non-Telehealth), Postgraduate qualification in mental health (AQF-recognised)
About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred mental health care and clinical assessments within a multidisciplinary team
- Plan, implement, and evaluate care to support the health and wellbeing of individuals in detention
- Perform diverse clinical tasks including immunisations, blood collection, and wound care
- Manage medication administration and provide health education to patients
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and care planning while respecting patient dignity and rights
Requirements
- AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Proven mental health clinical experience in an operational, non-Telehealth setting
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health (AQF-recognised)
- Strong critical thinking, prioritisation, and decision-making skills
